How Ike Led: The Principles Behind Eisenhower’s Biggest Decisions
by Susan Eisenhower
This is a marvelous story of a man who was a great leader: a brilliant 5 star General (the invasion of Normandy -D-Day, June 6, 1944), the liberation of Paris from the Nazis in August 1944, and more! Dwight D. Eisenhower was President of the United States of America for 2 terms: 1953—1961. This is a very rich history of “Ike” written by his highly accomplished granddaughter, Susan Eisenhower, a consultant, author, and expert on international security, space policy, energy, and relations between the Russian Federation and the United States of America.
An engaging book on the life of a man who contributed so much to our country. We know the name, but did we ever really learn about the man and all of his astounding contributions to our country. This is one of those books that makes you feel like you stepped back in time and were right there: once the mind expands it can never go back to its previous size!
New Money for a New World
by Bernard Lietaer & Stephen Belgin
Clients recommended this book to me back in 2020. They thought I would really enjoy this book, and did I ever! I couldn’t put the book down. On a flight, I didn’t mind being delayed, it gave me more reading time! Mr. Lietaer was an architect in the implementation of the Euro monetary system of the European Union and Mr. Belgin, a writer, publisher and founder of Qiterra Press, worked with Mr. Lietaer for a decade to create this book. I cite this book often in my work!
